Storm Chasing Tours

What did you enjoy the most?
This was my second tour with Robert, and once again he delivered ! Robert's knowledge of weather and storm predicting paid off and resulted in us seeing 2 tornadoes, some fantastic supercells and best of all hail stones the size of oranges !!
 
What would you improve about the tour?
Nothing, once again the experience is great, you just have to be patient and enjoy the whole thing.
 
What would you tell someone thinking of signing up for this tour?
I would highly recommend chasing with Robert, his knowledge is superb and he never ceases to amaze me how we are always first to arrive at chase locations – even before the universities and big tour groups. This really is an experience of a lifetime do not settle for second best by going with a tour group – something this special needs to be amazing and personal, Robert really involves you in the whole chase – you become an active part of the whole experience – compared to a tour group where you would be sitting in the back of a van with strangers and no input into how the tour will go.
 
What would you tell someone about to go storm chasing?
Be patient and be prepared for a lot of driving and down time – but it is worth it, when you see a tornado and witness the power of mother nature it will be a memory you will never forget !
 
Do you have any more general thoughts or comments?
I never thought I would be lucky enough to witness a tornado, but this was my second year chasing with Robert and I have seen 7 tornados in total ! The thrill of the chase and seeing amazing weather from supercells and hail to witnessing a tornado will make you want to come back again and again. I know I will be back chasing with Robert again !
 
 
Thanks again Bobby for this years adventure, again thanks to your skill I have seen sights that will stay with me forever. I am looking forward to doing it again !!
